Chinese New Year means a new start of a lunar calendar. It brings families together to celebrate this significant festival.

Highlight before the Chinese new year will be the lunar dinner, this is the time when families sit together to have a scrumptious dinner. Wahoo, this year I had my dinner in my uncle's house. Is time for me to get "angbao" (red packet).

Right early in the morning, I was wakened up by my anxious parent. I wore my precious clothes and leave my house. When I reach my uncle's house, I soon become an exhibition like a freak in the circus. Everyone started to crowd around me me, pinch my face, touch my hair and the worst thing is by my great aunt, she hit my butt! I fidget around with thousand of unwanted. After my nephews and niece arrive, they seems to forget me and start to crowd around them instead, I sigh with relieve.

After the crowd leave and start to cluster around my little nephew and niece, I sit down and chat with my cousin and his wife. I got an interesting discovery. Both of them were from the same secondary school, and same CCA, band which is same as me. My cousin-in-law played clarinet like me. She told me she was a section leader back then, and her section have more than 16 people while my school band section only have 6 after the sec 4 leave. Their love started since secondary school, and its amazing how their love can hold till this long. Isn't it fortunate?
